Should more specific legal bases also apply in indi\u00advi\u00addual cases, we will inform you of these in the privacy policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Consent (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR)<\/strong> \u2014 The data subject has given their consent to the proces\u00adsing of their personal data for a specific purpose or several specific purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

National data protec\u00adtion regu\u00adla\u00adtions in Germany: <\/strong>In addi\u00adtion to the data protec\u00adtion regu\u00adla\u00adtions of the GDPR, national data protec\u00adtion regu\u00adla\u00adtions apply in Germany. These include, in parti\u00adcular, the Act on the Protec\u00adtion against Misuse of Personal Data in Data Proces\u00adsing (Federal Data Protec\u00adtion Act \u2014 BDSG). In parti\u00adcular, the BDSG contains special regu\u00adla\u00adtions on the right to infor\u00adma\u00adtion, the right to erasure, the right to object, the proces\u00adsing of special cate\u00adgo\u00adries of personal data, proces\u00adsing for other purposes and trans\u00admis\u00adsion as well as auto\u00admated decision-making in indi\u00advi\u00addual cases, inclu\u00adding profiling. Further\u00admore, state data protec\u00adtion laws of the indi\u00advi\u00addual federal states may apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refe\u00adrence to the vali\u00addity of the GDPR and Swiss FADP:<\/strong> This data protec\u00adtion notice serves to provide infor\u00adma\u00adtion in accordance with both the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protec\u00adtion (FADP) and the General Data Protec\u00adtion Regu\u00adla\u00adtion (GDPR). For this reason, please note that the terms of the GDPR are used due to the broader geogra\u00adphical appli\u00adca\u00adtion and compre\u00adhen\u00adsi\u00adbi\u00adlity. In parti\u00adcular, instead of the terms \u201cproces\u00adsing\u201d of \u201cpersonal data\u201d, \u201cover\u00adri\u00adding inte\u00adrest\u201d and \u201csensi\u00adtive personal data\u201d used in the Swiss DPA, the terms \u201cproces\u00adsing\u201d of \u201cpersonal data\u201d, \u201clegi\u00adti\u00admate inte\u00adrest\u201d and \u201cspecial cate\u00adgo\u00adries of data\u201d used in the GDPR are used. However, the legal meaning of the terms will continue to be deter\u00admined in accordance with the Swiss DPA within the scope of appli\u00adca\u00adtion of the Swiss DPA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secu\u00adrity measures<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We take appro\u00adpriate tech\u00adnical and orga\u00adniza\u00adtional measures in accordance with the legal requi\u00adre\u00adments, taking into account the state of the art, the imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion costs and the nature, scope, circum\u00ads\u00adtances and purposes of the proces\u00adsing as well as the diffe\u00adrent proba\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adties of occur\u00adrence and the extent of the threat to the rights and free\u00addoms of natural persons, in order to ensure a level of protec\u00adtion appro\u00adpriate to the risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The measures include, in parti\u00adcular, safe\u00adguar\u00adding the confi\u00adden\u00adtia\u00adlity, inte\u00adgrity and avai\u00adla\u00adbi\u00adlity of data by control\u00adling physical and elec\u00adtronic access to the data as well as access, input, disclo\u00adsure, safe\u00adguar\u00adding avai\u00adla\u00adbi\u00adlity and sepa\u00adra\u00adtion of the data. Further\u00admore, we have estab\u00adlished proce\u00addures that ensure the exer\u00adcise of data subject rights, the dele\u00adtion of data and responses to data threats. Further\u00admore, we already take the protec\u00adtion of personal data into account during the deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment and selec\u00adtion of hard\u00adware, soft\u00adware and processes in accordance with the prin\u00adciple of data protec\u00adtion, through tech\u00adno\u00adlogy design and data protec\u00adtion-friendly default settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TLS\/SSL encryp\u00adtion (https): To protect user data trans\u00admitted via our online services, we use TLS\/SSL encryp\u00adtion. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is the stan\u00addard tech\u00adno\u00adlogy for secu\u00adring internet connec\u00adtions by encryp\u00adting the data trans\u00admitted between a website or app and a browser (or between two servers). Trans\u00adport Layer Secu\u00adrity (TLS) is an updated and more secure version of SSL. Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is displayed in the URL if a website is secured by an SSL\/TLS certi\u00adfi\u00adcate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trans\u00admis\u00adsion of personal data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of our proces\u00adsing of personal data, the data may be trans\u00admitted to other bodies, compa\u00adnies, legally inde\u00adpen\u00addent orga\u00adniza\u00adtional units or persons or disc\u00adlosed to them. The reci\u00adpi\u00adents of this data may include, for example, service provi\u00adders commis\u00adsioned with IT tasks or provi\u00adders of services and content that are inte\u00adgrated into a website. In such cases, we observe the legal requi\u00adre\u00adments and, in parti\u00adcular, conclude corre\u00adspon\u00adding contracts or agree\u00adments with the reci\u00adpi\u00adents of your data that serve to protect your data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rights of the data subjects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rights of data subjects under the GDPR: As a data subject, you are entitled to various rights under the GDPR, which arise in parti\u00adcular from Art. 15 to 21 GDPR:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Right to object: <\/strong>you have the right to object, on grounds rela\u00adting to your parti\u00adcular situa\u00adtion, at any time to proces\u00adsing of personal data concer\u00adning you which is based on point (e) or (f) of Article 6(1) GDPR, inclu\u00adding profiling based on those provi\u00adsions. If the personal data concer\u00adning you are processed for direct marke\u00adting purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the proces\u00adsing of personal data concer\u00adning you for such marke\u00adting, which includes profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marke\u00adting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Right to with\u00addraw consent:<\/strong> You have the right to with\u00addraw any consent you have given at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Right to infor\u00adma\u00adtion: <\/strong>You have the right to request confir\u00adma\u00adtion as to whether the data in ques\u00adtion is being processed and to infor\u00adma\u00adtion about this data as well as further infor\u00adma\u00adtion and a copy of the data in accordance with the legal requi\u00adre\u00adments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Right to recti\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion:<\/strong> You have the right to request the comple\u00adtion of data concer\u00adning you or the recti\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion of inac\u00adcu\u00adrate data concer\u00adning you in accordance with the legal requi\u00adre\u00adments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Right to erasure and rest\u00adric\u00adtion of proces\u00adsing:<\/strong> In accordance with the legal requi\u00adre\u00adments, you have the right to demand that data concer\u00adning you be erased imme\u00addia\u00adtely or, alter\u00adna\u00adtively, to demand that the proces\u00adsing of the data be rest\u00adricted in accordance with the legal requi\u00adre\u00adments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Right to data porta\u00adbi\u00adlity: <\/strong>You have the right to receive the data concer\u00adning you, which you have provided to us, in a struc\u00adtured, commonly used and machine-readable format in accordance with the legal requi\u00adre\u00adments or to request its trans\u00admis\u00adsion to another controller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Complaint to the super\u00advi\u00adsory autho\u00adrity:<\/strong> Without preju\u00addice to any other admi\u00adnis\u00adtra\u00adtive or judi\u00adcial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a super\u00advi\u00adsory autho\u00adrity, in parti\u00adcular in the Member State of your habi\u00adtual resi\u00addence, place of work or place of the alleged infrin\u00adge\u00adment if you consider that the proces\u00adsing of personal data rela\u00adting to you infringes the provi\u00adsions of the GDPR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use of cookies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cookies are small text files or other storage notes that store infor\u00adma\u00adtion on end devices and read infor\u00adma\u00adtion from the end devices. For example, to store the login status in a user account, the contents of a shop\u00adping cart in an e\u2011shop, the content accessed or the func\u00adtions used in an online offe\u00adring. Cookies can also be used for various purposes, e.g. to ensure the func\u00adtion\u00ada\u00adlity, secu\u00adrity and conve\u00adni\u00adence of online services and to analyze visitor flows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notes on consent:<\/strong> We use cookies in accordance with legal regu\u00adla\u00adtions. We ther\u00ade\u00adfore obtain prior consent from users, unless this is not required by law. In parti\u00adcular, consent is not required if the storage and reading of infor\u00adma\u00adtion, inclu\u00adding cookies, is abso\u00adlutely neces\u00adsary in order to provide the user with a tele\u00admedia service expressly requested by them (i.e. our online offe\u00adring). Strictly neces\u00adsary cookies gene\u00adrally include cookies with func\u00adtions that serve the display and opera\u00adbi\u00adlity of the online service, load balan\u00adcing, secu\u00adrity, storage of user prefe\u00adrences and selec\u00adtion options or similar purposes related to the provi\u00adsion of the main and secon\u00addary func\u00adtions of the online service requested by the user. The revo\u00adcable consent is clearly commu\u00adni\u00adcated to users and contains infor\u00adma\u00adtion on the respec\u00adtive use of cookies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Infor\u00adma\u00adtion on the legal basis under data protec\u00adtion law: <\/strong>The legal basis under data protec\u00adtion law on which we process users\u2019 personal data with the help of cookies depends on whether we ask users for their consent. If users give their consent, the legal basis for proces\u00adsing their data is their declared consent. Other\u00adwise, the data processed using cookies will be processed on the basis of our legi\u00adti\u00admate inte\u00adrests (e.g. in the commer\u00adcial opera\u00adtion of our online offe\u00adring and impro\u00adving its usabi\u00adlity) or, if this is done in the context of fulfil\u00adling our contrac\u00adtual obli\u00adga\u00adtions, if the use of cookies is neces\u00adsary to fulfill our contrac\u00adtual obli\u00adga\u00adtions. We will explain the purposes for which we process cookies in the course of this privacy policy or as part of our consent and proces\u00adsing proce\u00addures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Storage dura\u00adtion: <\/strong>With regard to the storage dura\u00adtion, a distinc\u00adtion is made between the follo\u00adwing types of cookies<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Tempo\u00adrary cookies (also: session cookies): <\/strong>Tempo\u00adrary cookies are deleted at the latest after a user has left an online offe\u00adring and closed their end device (e.g. browser or mobile appli\u00adca\u00adtion).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Perma\u00adnent cookies: <\/strong>Perma\u00adnent cookies remain stored even after the end device is closed. For example, the login status can be saved or preferred content can be displayed directly when the user visits a website again. The user data coll\u00adected with the help of cookies can also be used to measure reach. If we do not provide users with explicit infor\u00adma\u00adtion on the type and storage dura\u00adtion of cookies (e.g. when obtai\u00adning consent), users should assume that cookies are perma\u00adnent and can be stored for up to two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General infor\u00adma\u00adtion on revo\u00adca\u00adtion and objec\u00adtion (so-called \u201copt-out\u201d):<\/strong> Users can with\u00addraw the consent they have given at any time and object to proces\u00adsing in accordance with the legal requi\u00adre\u00adments. Among other things, users can rest\u00adrict the use of cookies in their browser settings (although this may also rest\u00adrict the func\u00adtion\u00ada\u00adlity of our online offe\u00adring). - Proces\u00adsing of cookie data on the basis of consent: <\/strong>We use a proce\u00addure for consent manage\u00adment: proce\u00addure for obtai\u00adning, logging, mana\u00adging and revo\u00adking consent, in parti\u00adcular for the use of cookies and similar tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies for storing, reading and proces\u00adsing infor\u00adma\u00adtion on users\u2019 end devices and their proces\u00adsing, in the context of which the user\u2019s consent to the use of cookies, respec\u00adtively the proces\u00adsing and provi\u00adders mentioned in the context of consent manage\u00adment: Proce\u00addure for obtai\u00adning, logging, mana\u00adging and revo\u00adking consent, in parti\u00adcular for the use of cookies and similar tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies for storing, reading and proces\u00adsing infor\u00adma\u00adtion on users\u2019 end devices and their proces\u00adsing proce\u00addures, can be obtained and managed and revoked by users. Subject to indi\u00advi\u00addual infor\u00adma\u00adtion on the provi\u00adders of cookie manage\u00adment services, the follo\u00adwing infor\u00adma\u00adtion applies: Consent may be stored for up to two years. A pseud\u00adony\u00admous user iden\u00adti\u00adfier is created and stored with the time of consent, infor\u00adma\u00adtion on the scope of consent (e.g. which cate\u00adgo\u00adries of cookies and\/or service provi\u00adders) as well as the browser, system and end device used; legal basis: consent (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Busi\u00adness services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We process data of our contrac\u00adtual and busi\u00adness part\u00adners, e.g. custo\u00admers and inte\u00adrested parties (coll\u00adec\u00adtively referred to as \u201ccontrac\u00adtual part\u00adners\u201d) in the context of contrac\u00adtual and compa\u00adrable legal rela\u00adti\u00adonships and asso\u00adciated measures and in the context of commu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion with the contrac\u00adtual part\u00adners (or pre-contrac\u00adtual), e.g. to answer inqui\u00adries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We process this data in order to fulfill our contrac\u00adtual obli\u00adga\u00adtions. These include, in parti\u00adcular, the obli\u00adga\u00adtions to provide the agreed services, any updating obli\u00adga\u00adtions and reme\u00addies in the event of warranty and other service disrup\u00adtions. In addi\u00adtion, we process the data to safe\u00adguard our rights and for the purpose of the admi\u00adnis\u00adtra\u00adtive tasks asso\u00adciated with these obli\u00adga\u00adtions and the company orga\u00adniza\u00adtion. In addi\u00adtion, we process the data on the basis of our legi\u00adti\u00admate inte\u00adrests in proper and effi\u00adcient busi\u00adness manage\u00adment and in secu\u00adrity measures to protect our contrac\u00adtual part\u00adners and our busi\u00adness opera\u00adtions from misuse, threats to their data, secrets, infor\u00adma\u00adtion and rights (e.g. to involve tele\u00adcom\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtions, trans\u00adport and other auxi\u00adliary services as well as subcon\u00adtrac\u00adtors, banks, tax and legal advi\u00adsors, payment service provi\u00adders or tax autho\u00adri\u00adties). Within the frame\u00adwork of appli\u00adcable law, we only pass on the data of contrac\u00adtual part\u00adners to third parties to the extent that this is neces\u00adsary for the afore\u00admen\u00adtioned purposes or to fulfill legal obli\u00adga\u00adtions. Contrac\u00adtual part\u00adners will be informed about other forms of proces\u00adsing, e.g. for marke\u00adting purposes, as part of this privacy policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We inform the contrac\u00adtual part\u00adners which data is required for the afore\u00admen\u00adtioned purposes before or during data coll\u00adec\u00adtion, e.g. in online forms, by means of special marking (e.g. colors) or symbols (e.g. aste\u00adrisks or similar), or in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We delete the data after the expiry of statu\u00adtory warranty and compa\u00adrable obli\u00adga\u00adtions, i.e. gene\u00adrally after 4 years, unless the data is stored in a customer account, e.g. as long as it must be retained for legal archi\u00adving reasons. The statu\u00adtory reten\u00adtion period is ten years for docu\u00adments rele\u00advant under tax law and for commer\u00adcial books, invent\u00adories, opening balance sheets, annual finan\u00adcial state\u00adments, the work instruc\u00adtions and other orga\u00adniza\u00adtional docu\u00adments and accoun\u00adting records required to under\u00adstand these docu\u00adments, and six years for commer\u00adcial and busi\u00adness letters received and repro\u00adduc\u00adtions of commer\u00adcial and busi\u00adness letters sent. The period begins at the end of the calendar year in which the last entry was made in the book, the inven\u00adtory, the opening balance sheet, the annual finan\u00adcial state\u00adments or the manage\u00adment report were prepared, the commer\u00adcial or busi\u00adness letter was received or sent or the accoun\u00adting docu\u00adment was created, the record was made or the other docu\u00adments were created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plugins and embedded func\u00adtions and content<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We incor\u00adpo\u00adrate func\u00adtional and content elements into our online offe\u00adring that are obtained from the servers of their respec\u00adtive provi\u00adders (herein\u00adafter referred to as \u201cthird-party provi\u00adders\u201d). These may be, for example, graphics, videos or city maps (herein\u00adafter uniformly referred to as \u201ccontent\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inte\u00adgra\u00adtion always requires that the third-party provi\u00adders of this content process the IP address of the user, as they would not be able to send the content to their browser without the IP address. The provider of the fonts is informed of the user\u2019s IP address so that the fonts can be made available in the user\u2019s browser. In addi\u00adtion, tech\u00adnical data (language settings, screen reso\u00adlu\u00adtion, opera\u00adting system, hard\u00adware used) are trans\u00admitted that are neces\u00adsary for the provi\u00adsion of the fonts depen\u00adding on the devices used and the tech\u00adnical envi\u00adron\u00adment. This data may be processed on a server of the font provider in the USA \u2014 When visi\u00adting our online offer, users\u2019 brow\u00adsers send their browser HTTP requests to the Google Fonts Web API (i.e. a soft\u00adware inter\u00adface for retrie\u00adving fonts). The Google Fonts Web API provides users with the Google Fonts Casca\u00adding Style Sheets (CSS) and then the fonts speci\u00adfied in the CCS. These HTTP requests include (1) the IP address used by the respec\u00adtive user to access the Internet, (2) the requested URL on the Google server and (3) the HTTP headers, inclu\u00adding the User-Agent, which describes the browser and opera\u00adting system versions of the website visi\u00adtors, as well as the referral URL (i.e. the web page on which the Google font is to be displayed). IP addresses are neither logged nor stored on Google servers and are not analyzed. The Google Fonts Web API logs details of HTTP requests (requested URL, user agent and referrer URL). Access to this data is rest\u00adricted and strictly controlled. The requested URL iden\u00adti\u00adfies the font fami\u00adlies for which the user wants to load fonts. This data is logged so that Google can deter\u00admine how often a parti\u00adcular font family is requested. With the Google Fonts Web API, the user agent must adapt the font that is gene\u00adrated for the respec\u00adtive browser type. The user agent is prima\u00adrily logged for debug\u00adging and used to gene\u00adrate aggre\u00adgated usage statis\u00adtics to measure the popu\u00adla\u00adrity of font fami\u00adlies. These aggre\u00adgated usage statis\u00adtics are published on the Google Fonts \u201cAnaly\u00adtics\u201d page. Finally, the referral URL is logged so that the data can be used for produc\u00adtion main\u00adten\u00adance and to gene\u00adrate an aggre\u00adgated report on the top inte\u00adgra\u00adtions based on the number of font requests.
